Individually we all want to make an impact in the world. We have been working to increase the leadership capacity of women around the world since 2005. Bringing transformational leadership training and coaching has made a great difference in the lives of those women and their communities. And yet, there was more that we could do.
What are the possibilities to accelerate and scale impact if we combine forces with other organizations who share our same vision?
That is the question we asked in 2016. Through that question, five powerful global organizations committed to creating a world in which women experience equity came together to see what would be possible.... Collective Impact Partnership (CIP) was launched!
The Collective Impact Partnership (CIP) leverages the powerful work of World Pulse, Rise Up, How Women Lead (formally Global Women's Leadership Network), the Public Health Institute, and Global Fund for Women to increase the economic power of women and girls in India. With funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, CIP’s innovative approach builds women leaders’ advocacy, leadership, and digital capacities to advance economic empowerment and justice for women and girls in Maharashtra. The idea was to bring each organizations unique competency and leverage their networks to deliver a comprehensive program that would provide transformational results. This three year project works with a cohort of 20 India-based women leaders to advance their own initiatives through 2020.
